Lau King is an emerging visual artist specialised in photography. Being an adventurous and sensitive soul, photography and visual art become the medium for Lau King to express her personal philosophy and aesthetics of the world. Lau King graduated from School of Creative Media in City University of Hong Kong in 2012. Originally from Hong Kong, her photographs has been recognised across the globe and have won the artist numerous international awards. Lau King has been exhibited in art shows, galleries, biennale and museum in Hong Kong, China, Japan, Singapore, Miami, London, Hamburg, Milan and Florence. She is awarded with the Fine Art Photography Bronze Award by Italy A'Design Award and Competition in 2020 and 2022. She also received the Top 10 Potential Artist Award from the CADC Influential Artist of the Year in China ,Special Prize for Japan Mellow Art Award and Fine Art Professional Nominees from London 6th Fine Art Photography Awards in 2020. Her works has been collected by international companies, hotels, interior designers and private collectors. She has been invited to participate in XIII Florence Art Biennale in 2021 and Shanghai Residency this year which are both fully supported and granted by Hong Kong Art Development Council. 

 Lau King believes our world is full of surprise and beauty and only originality and truth can stand the trial of time. By transcending the ordinary world into a 2-dimension frame, Lau King creates painterly photography with her energy and consciousness infused in each work, in the hope of connecting emotions and raising awareness with audience.
