Prof. Emil Chain is an adjunct professor at City University EMBA Programme and an advocate of Web3 and ArtTech. He is also a professional photographer who had been involved very early on during his career in Banking. His collections of photography collections captured moments and urban landscapes. Emil is a FinTech enthusiast with over 20 years experience in managing IT and business transformation projects in international financial institutions. He had worked for several sizeable international banks including Credit Suisse and BayernLB as the roles of First Vice President, Head of IT in Asia Pacific, Project Director and Operations Manager AP. Emil is currently the Founder and Hon. Chairman of StartHK, an NGO to unleash the potential of the underprivileged in running startups. He is also a part-time lecturer of postgraduate eBusiness and FinTech courses of Hong Kong University SPACE, Hong Kong Institute of Bankers, Hang Seng Management College. Emil is also the Chairman of Smart City Consortium Fintech Committee, Founding Chairman of the Association of Cloud and Mobile Computing Professionals, Supervisor of the Internet Profession Association (iProA), the Vice Chairman of Hong Kong New Emerging Technology Education Association. He is the judge of several major IT competitions including Hong Kong ICT Awards and Pan-Pearl Delta Universities IT Projects Competition in Hong Kong and China since 2010.
