Visitors can explore the evolution of healthcare while appreciating the charm and character of the old building that hosts this unique museum. 香港醫學博物館位於上環堅巷,前身為舊病理學院(又稱「舊病理檢驗所」)。舊病理學院於1906年啟用,是香港首間專為公共衞生和醫學化驗而設的檢驗所。以紅磚建成的大樓具愛德華式建築風格,樓高2層,另設1層地庫。舊病理學院於1990年列為古蹟。香港醫學博物館在1996年於該址成立,設有多個展覽室,為公眾介紹有關香港作為中西薈萃文化交匯地的中、西醫學發展和醫學遺產。
