Watercolour on paper. Inspired by the urban cityscape of Hong Kong, this series explores the juxtaposition of modern architecture with more traditional architecture in Hong Kong, which is also sometimes a mixture of East and West. The visual imagery of the distorted reflections on the modern glass curtain walls depicts an imaginary world or perhaps an alternate world. The contrast between the real and unreal, and the old and new reflects the constant dilemma of living in a modern society.
