Certificate of Authenticity

Completed during the current pandemic, this two-tone painting is a tribute to the eponymous novel by Albert Camus. The spread of the virus is here symbolized by the yellow color which has already invaded the sky, the waters and the bodies of the fishermen who took refuge on their boats as the whole city gradually becomes infected and black smokes begin to arise from crematoria.​
