Museum Grade reprint on Hahnemühle German Etching 310gsm mould-made paper. Limited reprint. It's noisy, grimy, and delicious: The dai pai pong is the quintessential Hong Kong culinary experience. Every night since 1956, Oi Man Sang has fired up local favorites brimming with wok hei ("breath of the wok"), surrounded by an orchestra of joyful diners and sizzling claypots. Only 25 of these outdoor food stalls have withstood government efforts to eradicate them, and this mouth-watering spot is one of them.

In 2020, while experimenting with watercolor urban sketching, Alvin inadvertently embarked on a journey of 'rediscovering' his hometown as he uncovers untold stories along the way —often in the most ordinary, familiar, yet most overlooked places. Each painting brings to life tales of (extra)ordinary people whose lifetime of devotion and resilience weave into the rise of Hong Kong and the rich cultural heritage that makes Hong Kong so uniquely Hong Kong.
