For six decades, Mr. Wong has been running "Sang Kee", specializing in all things dried and preserved from Chinese sausages to conpoy, jujubes to mui choy, as well as an array of nuts and grains. Sang Kee is one of a kind at the Graham Street Market, Hong Kong's oldest wet market which is facing growing threats from urban redevelopment.

Alvin C.K. Lam is a Hong Kong–based self-taught watercolor artist who recalls picking up a paintbrush long before chopsticks. What began in 2020 as an experiment in urban sketching soon became a journey of rediscovering his hometown and uncovering the untold stories hidden within its streets. Known for his richly detailed and evocative style, Alvin captures Hong Kong’s vibrant yet fading cultural heritage through scenes of traditional family businesses, craftsmen, and everyday life. His ongoing series, Unspoken Stories, Unsung Heroes, celebrates these ordinary figures—the quiet backbone of modern Hong Kong—reflecting the enduring Lion Rock Spirit while evoking nostalgia amid the tension between tradition and progress.
