Harlem Sunga was born in Capas Tarlac in 1998, Growing up around their family's antique shop and watching his father work as a carpenter naturally sparked his passion in woodworking. His interest and talent were first formed while he was a child playing with the tools as a toy in their shop. He's interest and skills was cultivated during his teenage years and further developed when he decided to take his Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts major in Advertising. He participated in and earned numerous awards in a national art competition during his college years. After completing his degree, Harlem delved even more into his career as a sculptor. His work is mostly made of hardwood, and it is primarily inspired by things he sees in everyday life. His latest endeavor is a kinetic sculpture, which he is using to experiment and take his art onto a new level.
