Standing tall and proud for over a century at Tsim Sha Tsui seafront is the Clock Tower. It used to be part of the old Kowloon-Canton Railway Main Station. In the past, going back to your “village home” meant setting off from this station. Today the Clock Tower is gazetted as Hong Kong’s national monument. Parked in front of the Clock Tower is Mister Softee ice-cream truck. The truck traverses all over Hong Kong, Kowloon and New Territories, and to meet Mister Softee needs a bit of luck. But one thing for sure, you will always find a Mister Softee in front of the Clock Tower, come rain or shine. Every time you hear the soft music of “The Blue Danube”, your tongue will start to tingle sweetly.
