Inspired by Tai Mo Shan. Hong Kong is a beautiful and lively city. I like to record the moments i stay with the natures, physically and mentally. I like to feel the movement of the clouds, see the veins of the mountains. Living in cities, we emphasize on efficiency and results. We are gradually moving away from Nature. Nature is a form of energy and life. Every moment of the creative process cannot be expected, as nature. Landscape is a healing for me to accept the ups and downs of life. Therefore, painting landscapes is similar with a portrait of man, not physically but more that of his mind, spirit, rhythm and emotions. I use western mediums and scattered perspective theory and ‘Tsun’(a kind of painting method representing the textures and different forms of mountains) from Chinese landscape painting, means that all things in the world can peacefully coexist.

Zue Chan early works "Unconstrained" series used the traditional texturing method in Chinese painting to depict the veins of mountains and rocks and Western oil painting techniques such as wiping to embody the layers of the cloud sea. With the comfort of the mountain and the leisurely cloud, creating a peaceful, restful space apart from reality and established a unique creative style of herself.
