This is one of the "Salute to Hong Kong Heritage Buildings" series painted by the artist -- Tak Sang Pawn Shop is located at the junction between Shanghai Street and Saigon Street in Jordan. It was built in 1940, one of the three pre-war pawn shops that belonged to the Ko Ho Ning family who was known as the ‘pawn shop tycoon’ in Macau and Hong Kong during the late 1930s-50s.
