Certificate of Authenticity

When the Nancy Kissel Murders were broadcasted on air, I was going through a difficult time with my previous partner. It was hard to escape the conversations surrounding this case and it was even harder for me to not be absorbed by the disturbing emotions of this case. I found myself immersed in trying to make sense of the layers of her emotions and the intensity of her feelings as she carried out this horrendous act. In this painting, I capture the intensity of feelings I experienced during this time period, as everything started to blur together
