This is one of the “Salute to Hong Kong Old Buildings” series painted by the artist – Wan Chai House is an old residential building built in 1959 which provides home for over 40 flats of residents. It is situated at the heart of Wan Chai District next to Wan Chai Market. The eye-catching red of the building makes it an icon of the area which plays harmoniously well with the modern commercial building in the area.
