Silver Grass Mountain 芒草嶺

2022
Silver grass grows high and wild around the old observatory, reaching up to the crumbling stone steps. The man climbs them, his breath fogging in the cold air. He reaches the top and looks out over the city. In the distance he can see the tall spire of the cathedral. He turns and looks back down the hill. The silver grass is so thick below him that he can't see the bottom.
