I Survive

(Ref#: Won_006)
2023
“I Survive” is a peek into Sindy’s love for our planet and her worries about its future, as human continues to destroy and exploit the natural resources. In the painting, the girl survives the catastrophe , and disseminates hope. This is Sindy’s faith and call to human beings: take action now to change (our life style) and save (the Earth). The piece belongs to "My Wonderland" series. It is a glimpse of Sindy’s imaginary world , and herself in it. The world is vibrant and dreamy , yet full of unknowns and sometimes difficult, which makes it fascinating. It is whimsical yet echoing what happens within us and around us — about our self-identify and aspiration , the city and society we live in, the Earth and humankind etc. Sindy invites you to visit her inner world and shares with you how she, as an individual, encounters these issues. At the same time, you may revisit your inner world and the child within, and rethink about these issues too.
