To register an artist in ArtracX Curator, go to the following URL:
https://curator.artracx.com/create-artist/
You need to put in the information of the artist in the form there. When you have finished, click the “Submit” button.
Information Template
To help you gather the necessary information to register your entity, artists, artworks, and their reprints, we provide an Excel template for you to use. Just click the icon below to download the template. There are examples of entity, artist, artwork, reprint edition, and reprint in the template for your reference.
Information Required
The following information is needed to register your artist:
Name (*Required)
Real name or nickname
ISNI
Input the International Standard Name Identifier (ISNI) of the artist if he has one. Ignore this field if you do not know his ISNI of if you do not know what ISNI is.
Gender
Select the gender of the artist from the dropdown list.
Bio
The bio of the artist. For best visual results, insert a blank line between 2 paragraphs.
Short Bio for COA
If the bio above is long, there may not be enough space to display the whole bio in a Certificate of Authenticity. You may write a shorter version of the bio for the certificate.
City/Country (*Required)
The city and country of the artist.
Year of Birth
The year of birth of the artist.
Year of Death
The year in which the artist died. For deceased artists only.
Website
The URL of the official website of the artist.
Featured Image
This is the image for listing and for sharing on social media. The ideal dimension is 1200 x 630 pixels. Other dimensions will work, too.
Profile Picture
A square portrait of the artist is expected. If the picture is not a square, the part in biggest square that can fit in the center of the picture will be used. An image other than a portrait that can represent the artist is also acceptable.
Cover Image
This image is displayed at the top of the artist’s page. Ideally, the image should be more than 1600pixels in width.
More Images
These are the images that you want to show with the artist. You may upload up to 12 images. Ideally, these images should be 1000px to 3000px in width. Other dimensions will work, too.
YouTube Video ID
If you have a video about the artist on YouTube, you may embed the video in the artist’s page. Enter only the ID of the video. If the URL of your video is “https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O1ncQ9pnBdg”, just enter “O1ncQ9pnBdg” (without the quotes).
List this Artwork
Whether you want to list this artwork with your entity. The artwork is not listed if you choose not to list the artworks of your entity.
