To register an artwork in ArtracX Curator, go to the following URL:
https://curator.artracx.com/create-artwork/

You need to put in the information of the artwork in the form there. When you have finished, click the “Submit” button.

Note that you need to register the artist in ArtracX Curators before registering the artwork. Go to https://curator.artracx.com/create-artist/ to register the artist if you have not done so.

Information Template

To help you gather the necessary information to register your entity, artists, artworks, and their reprints, we provide an Excel template for you to use. Just click the icon below to download the template. There are examples of entity, artist, artwork, reprint edition, and reprint in the template for your reference.

Information Required

The following information is needed to register your artwork:

Artwork Title (*Required)

The title of the artwork.

Reference Number

The reference number of the artwork used in your organization.

Artist (*Required)

The artist of the artwork. You need to select from a list of artists that you have registered. Note that you need to register the artist in ArtracX Curators before registering the artwork. Go to https://curator.artracx.com/create-artist/ to register the artist if you have not done so.

Main Category (*Required) and Sub-Category

The main and lower-level taxonomy of the artwork.

Year (*Required)

The year in which the artwork was completed.

Description

Description of the artwork that you want people to read. For best visual results, insert a blank line between 2 paragraphs.

Short Description for COA

If the description is long, there may not be enough space to display the whole description in a Certificate of Authenticity. You may write a shorter version of the description for the certificate.

Current Location (*Required)

The current location of the artwork, which may include the name of the place (e.g., gallery, museum) and city and country of the location (e.g., London, United Kingdom or Los Angeles, CA, USA).

Condition Report

A description of the condition of the artwork.

Featured Image (*Required)

This is the image for listing and for sharing on social media. The ideal dimension is 1200 x 630 pixels. Other dimensions will work, too.

Images

These are the images that you want to show with the artwork. The first image is the key image. You may upload up to 12 images. If no images are uploaded, the Featured Image will be used as the key image. Ideally, these images should be 1000px to 3000px in width. Other dimensions will work, too.

YouTube Video ID

If you have a video about the artwork on YouTube, you may embed the video in the artwork’s page. Enter only the ID of the video. If the URL of your video is “https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O1ncQ9pnBdg”, just enter “O1ncQ9pnBdg” (without the quotes).

Measurement Unit (*Required)

Select the measurement units of the artwork from the dropdown list.

Length/Width/Height (*Required)

Enter the numeric value of the measurements of the artwork based on the unit selected in “Measurement Unit”. Length is required for 3-dimensional arts.

Frame Width/Frame Height

Enter the numeric value of the measurements of the frame (if the artwork is a framed 2-dimensional art) based on the unit selected in “Measurement Unit”.

Exhibition History

If the artwork has been shown in exhibition, you may enter the information of the exhibition.
From/To: The start and end months of the exhibition.
Location: The location of the exhibition. Enter name of the place, city, and country.
Description: The details of the exhibition including name of the exhibition and the story of the artwork in the exhibition.
Click the (+) button to add a new record below the row of the button. Click the (-) button to remove the row of the button.

Provenance

The value of your artwork can be enhanced with a complete provenance. Enter such information below for your artwork’s page.
Provenance Images: You may add images to show with the ownership record. Upload the images and note the order of the image your image. See “Images” below for further instructions.
From/To: The start and end years of an ownership record.
Description: Details of the ownership.
Images: Put the number of the relevant images uploaded in “Provenance Images” discussed above into this field. If there are multiple relevant images for a record, separate the numbers with a comma.
YouTube Video ID: If you have a video on YouTube about the ownership record, put the ID of the YouTube video in this field. Refer to above for finding the ID of a YouTube video.
Click the (+) button to add a new row below the row of the button. Click the (-) button to remove the row of the button.

Recovery Price

Price for recovery from charity auctions only, representing the proceeds, less any transaction fees, received when the artwork is sold/auctioned off through a charity organization. The final auction/selling price minus the recovery price, less any transactions fees, will benefit the charity involved while the artists and entity also benefit in the impact chain.

Selling Price

Your asking price of the artwork.

List this Artwork

Whether you want to list this artwork with your entity. The artwork is not listed if you choose not to list the artworks of your entity.
