Lake After Rain 雨後湖畔

2016
In this painting, Phillip is being expressive on the tranquility in the lake after rain shower. Although it looks peaceful, we do not know what will be ahead of us. As the sun set, the sky turned a deep purple and orange. The water in the lake was a deep blue, and the reflection of the sun off of it made it look like it was on fire.
